My journey to this profession is not typical one. At 34, with two children of my own, I am a non-traditional student, but my path has been anything but conventional. Instead of a straight line from high school to university, my education has been a winding road of life experiences that have culminated in a profound and unwavering purpose. It was the daily experience of raising my children that illuminated my true calling, leading me back to the classroom with a new sense of urgency and clarity.
Becoming a mother fundamentally changed my perspective on the world. I learned that the well-being is built on a foundation of nurturing care of the body. These weren't abstract concepts from a textbook; they were real-life lessons playing out in my own home. My initial focus was purely on my family, but soon I realized this passion was larger than just my two children. I wanted to apply my newfound knowledge and dedication to help people thrive.
Returning to school to pursue a degree in Massage Therapy is of the most challenging and rewarding decisions of my life. Balancing coursework, homework, and family life requires meticulous planning and sacrifice, but every late-night session is a testament to my commitment.
This new journey is an investment in a future where I can use my unique blend of lived experience and academic knowledge to make a tangible difference. After graduation, I hope to work enriching my community. I want to create supportive, local services, with safe environments where all bodies feels valued and has the opportunity to reach their full potential. The lessons I've learned in class, combined with the hands-on education I get every day, will allow me to be an empathetic, effective, and passionate professional.
For my children, I hope to be a role model who shows them that it is never too late to pursue a passion and that a desire to serve others is one of the most meaningful ambitions one can have. Thank you for considering my services and for believing in the power of second chances.

Massage therapy can help relieve muscle tension, reduce stress, improve circulation, and promote relaxation. Many clients also find it supports better sleep, faster recovery from workouts, and overall improved well-being.
All you need to do is arrive a few minutes early to fill out a short intake form and discuss your goals with your therapist. Wear comfortable clothing, and don’t worry—we’ll guide you through everything so you feel at ease.
That depends on your needs. For general stress relief and relaxation, once a month is a great starting point. If you’re addressing chronic pain, recovering from an injury, or training athletically, weekly or bi-weekly sessions may provide the best results.
